More about Miss Áine

Award winning singer-songwriter Áine O’Doherty, from County

Donegal, Ireland. A professional musician

for over 20 years qualified in Teaching & Education with years of

practical teaching experience. In 2012, Áine was the recipient of a

Berklee College of Music Scholarship, she has recorded albums with

top Irish & American musicians. Miss Áine’s fun approach to learning

combined with her knowledge of the Irish ‘Songbook’ History

makes for a great way to educate your children about Celtic culture

through music & fun!

Irish Fun Hour for Kids!

As it’s Irish Heritage Month & St. Patrick’s ‘Season’ we are having an Irish Party! I’ll be a running a ‘Fun Hour of Irish-ness’ this Saturday for 4-10 year olds at 11am. If there is a lot of interest I will split it into ages 4-7 @11am and ages 7-10 @3pm

We will have a sing along with songs in Irish and English, some dancing, storytelling & a whole lot more!

Participate via Zoom $10 per child ($15 for 2 from same household)

Lesson Structure

Lessons can be completed through Zoom or if you have a choice of platform to use I am happy to work with whatever works best for you & your family.

Students will receive a lesson sheet each week and a test at the end of week 7 to be submitted for the final lesson of the semester on week 8

Times are flexible and I am happy to work with your families schedule

I am offering music lessons with an Irish & Celtic Culture twist. We will learn the basics through simple Irish songs, they will learn the background to the song, geographically where the song came from, FUNFACTS and pop quizzes on Irish 'Stuff' (History 🧐).
